What is stored, and why

Your email address

As registered for the webinar. It is the key that finds your credentials, and nothing else.

Your lab username and password

Created by the instructors for this session only. They are stored so the page can show them back to you.

Each lookup

The time, the address typed and the network address it came from, so instructors can see that credentials reached the right people and spot anyone probing the form.

Nothing is sent to any third party, nothing is used for marketing, and no profiling or automated decision-making takes place. There are no analytics or advertising trackers on this page, and the only cookie is the one that secures the form itself. The roster is uploaded to this server by your instructor and is not read from any outside service, so the copy deleted below is the copy that was used.

How long it is kept

The list of participants and their credentials is deleted automatically 1 day after the lab closes. At the same moment, the lookup records for that lab lose your email address and network address — the remaining entry says only that a lookup happened and how it ended, which is no longer personal data. Deletion runs on a daily schedule and cannot be skipped.

Your rights

You can ask what is held about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted before the automatic deletion falls due — an instructor can remove your row immediately on request. You can also object to the processing, in which case you would be given credentials another way. If you believe your data has been handled improperly you may complain to your national data protection authority; in Finland that is the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman.
